The Cabins at Carolina Beach State Park

Cabin porchForget the tent, don’t bring the RV, and let the bugs sleep alone under the stars. The next time you want a camping experience for up to six people at the beach, look no further than the four new cabins at Carolina Beach State Park. At $58 per night, it’s by far the best summertime value on the island.

Double bed

Bunk bedsThe cabin kits were designed by Conestogal Log Cabins and assembled on site by local company Lumina Builders. Each one has two rooms, the first upon entry is filled with a double bed and the second has two bunk beds on opposing walls. Each room has a fold down desk, as well. The units have no plumbing, so no bath or kitchen, but there is a shared bathroom facility with shower nearby. The big draw, especially with our summertime heat, is an air conditioner. This makes camping during the dog days of summer possible. Each room also has electrical outlets so you can charge your phone and other gadgets, we all know that’s a big plus, even in the wild. Each of the four cabin sits on its own lot. The long driveways can easily accommodate two cars per lot. The sites also host a picnic table, fire pit, and grill. Another important note, one of the cabins is fully Handicap accessible.

Outdoor amenities

Open dates for this summer are already hard to secure, so book as soon as you have a date. Visitors also need to keep in mind that a two night minimum stay is enforced on weekends and holidays. Click here to reserve your cabin. Grab your gear, five friends and a your sense of adventure. These cabins could be the ultimate escape for your summertime getaway. If you have any questions, about the accommodations, let us know in the comments. We’ll do our best to get them answered. See you at the beach this summer!
